New website

I have a bad habit of destroying my website, leaving it offline for months, and rebuilding it every year or two.

There are usually better places for information than here. Everything I work on with Drupal has a place to be written about in groups, mailing lists, or plain old documentation. I will do my best to write unique and useful content for this site.

I think this site has been offline for over a year. What took so long?

First, I decided to read Bringhurst and make a proper theme. I learned a lot, but The Elements of Typographic Style Applied to the Web concisely covers most of what I actually used.

Second, I decided to get hosting with Slicehost. I had to build out the whole server and am reminded of why avoid sysadmin work.

I hope to start writing good posts for this site and keep it up for much longer than 2 years.
