Help test the new API.drupal.org
The staging site for API.drupal.org is ready for testing. We have added the theme from Drupal.org’s redesign and documentation from classes. Behind the scenes there is a new PHP parser, project support, and automation with Hudson. This is a good test case for the latest Drupal.org infrastructure work, and has been great to work with. Please note problems in this issue queue.

Am I the only one that finds the new sites text to be less readable?
It seems both smaller and feinter.
That is not an issue specific to this single site but will affect all of drupal.org once all of it has been moved over.
Yeah, the text is too small. There's already an issue about this on the d.o webmasters issue tracker.
The text is definitely hard to read. Here's the link to the issue mentioned above:

But overall, I really like the new design; it's a lot cleaner. Well done everyone involved, especially with all of the work done under the hood.
I'd test it but I don't want to go blind trying to read the text. Nice usability improvements! ;)
Aw, c'mon guys - that's what your browser zoom tool is for!
Now suck it up and get to work! ;-)
The theme needs a lot of work. Played around with stylish FF plugin a bit:
Table has no padding, sidebar blocks are too faint and have too little padding,
Content is too near to sidebar, Tabs are too faint...
Basically it will be tweaking Marks Design so it looks in reality as good as it looked on the mockups.
What happened to the text size of the code is really a bit extreme :) Guess this will be adressed.
Although I much prefer this layout (http://api.scratch.drupal.org/api/search/7/taxonomy) over the current (http://api.drupal.org/api/search/7/taxonomy), I also see some readability issues.
One thing that confused me for awhile is that the "Docs Home" tab did not go to the homepage of the API site but instead back tor drupal.org. It took me about 15 minutes to figure out you have to click the API tab. Generally an active tab is not clickable so I did not even think to try that.
